Language Editors: Challenges, Linguistic Attitudes and Motivation

The aim of this work is to analyse the challenges that language editors face when editing texts and investigate linguistic attitudes motivation editors. paper analyses 10 qualitative in-depth semi-structured interviews with average length each interview 45 minutes. research material consists a total 7 hours audio recordings interviews, transcribed make up 100 pages text. edited by participants vary in their nature: cultural, legal, film texts, scientific, medical, culinary, business, fiction literature etc. It has been found various work: for example, difficulties due late Lithuanian terminology, liberalising policy. have analysed: study do not question idea normalization explain its importance arguments.
